European & African Games Suitable for grades 3-8 Time: 30 minutes Fee: $1.00 per student Student Limit: 30 In this activity, students will play a game from each of
the two cultures (Euro-American and African-American) living at Stagville.
In pairs students will play either Achi or Yote, (African), and either
Fox and Geese or Nine Men’s Morris, (European).
A museum educator will facilitate a discussion about these games, their
similarities and differences as well as their comparison with modern games.
Students will keep their game pieces and boards.
